The series of images can then be “stitched” together into one large panoramic photo with Canon’s included software. Until now though, they’ve been limited to a resolution of two-megapixels, a level that’s sufficient to make good-looking 8×10 prints, but that’s now increasingly behind the times. This cover seems to do a good job of protecting the port, but it sticks out a little on the otherwise very sleek case, and I also worry a bit about flexible flaps like this breaking over time. Forget about connecting the S to a computer just to print. I should add that the included 16MB CF card can’t actually hold that much video. The S has some nice manual features, as you can see. Also, it’s heavier than a plastic camera would be, but most people won’t be bothered by that.
